Job summary

Food City is seeking a stock associate to keep shelves stocked, check prices, and maintain a clean stockroom. You will unload deliveries, rotate stock for freshness, and provide friendly service to customers.

Must be 18+, on-site availability required, and ability to follow instructions. Prior stocking is a plus but not required. Food City offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Stocking experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and perform routine tasks with daily interaction.
• Able to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts and adhere to attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Stock all merchandise in its proper location.
• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Replace misplaced items to the proper location.
• Unload trucks.
• Sweep and mop all areas of store.
• Check shelf labels for pricing accuracy.
• Keep stockroom area neat and clean.
• Remove and dispose of all trash.
• Rotate all merchandise to ensure freshness and quality.
• Clean and straighten shelves.
• Hang shelf tags.
• Stack product in stockroom.
• Bale all boxes.
