Job summary

Food Lion in Kernersville, NC is seeking a Store Associate to deliver fast, friendly customer service in the Center Store department. You will help maintain shelf conditions, stock Backroom, follow plan-o-grams, and ensure accurate price and product presentation.

You will work with a team to keep aisles safe and clean, follow food safety policies, use ACIS/CAO tools where applicable, and complete CBT and training.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide enthusiastic, fast, friendly customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain proper shelf conditions and backroom organization according to plan-o-grams.
• Operate computer systems and POS equipment as required.
• Follow Food Lion safety guidelines and report any accidents per procedures.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge and maintain a neat appearance.
