As a retail specialist at Hani's Bakery + Café, you will facilitate the guest experience and provide extraordinary customer service. You will greet guests, ring up customer orders, handle monetary transactions, prepare beverages, and assist in retail sales. Candidates should have full knowledge of the menu and products, be team-oriented, and preferably have prior retail, cashier, or barista experience in a similar setting.

The job expectations :

• Cultivate excellent hospitality in a welcoming environment for all guests, ensuring a positive experience both in-store and for digital orders.
• Acknowledge and positively engage with all guests at the counter, managing expectations with a warm, welcoming demeanor.
• Exhibit expert knowledge of all menu items and proper serving and packaging methods.
• Possess a passion for coffee and tea beverages, with the ability to prepare basic espresso drinks and latte art.
• Maintain excellent organization and cleanliness of the store.
• Keep an orderly work area to promote food quality and reduce waste, following all directions, proper storage, and FIFO principles.
• Ensure compliance with DOH regulations related to front-of-house operations.
• Communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with team members throughout the day.
