Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will stand at the store entrance, greet customers, and monitor for theft, reporting incidents to the Manager on Duty promptly.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and to visually monitor store environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and exits to deter theft and ensure store safety.
• Greet every customer with a warm, loud, and friendly greeting at entry points.
• Report theft incidents or suspicious activity to management promptly.
• Conduct bag checks as required and follow safety and security standards.
• Provide support in training associates on shortage reduction programs.
