Job description

Assists the Retail Store Manager and Retail Assistant Store Manager in the operation and management of a retail center by performing the following duties personally or through supporting team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

6. Receives donations from donors using the GRATIS process (Greet, Receipt, Assist, Thank, Invite Back, Sort).
7. Sorts, prices, and stocks hardline and softline donations for sale according to established expectations.
8. Uses the point-of-sale system accurately to complete sales and requests customers to round-up change for mission impact.
9. Records donations, merchandise production, and specific tasks accurately.
10. Exceeds production goals related to retail role.
11. Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
12. Demonstrates mastery in cashiering, softline production, and donor/hardline roles through evaluation.
13. Obtains and maintains forklift, walk-behind stacker, first-aid, CPR, and BBP certifications.
14. Trains new team members and sets a positive example.
15. Provides coaching to team members as needed.
16. Handles refunds and customer concerns effectively.
17. Reports security or theft issues to management or Asset Protection.
18. Complies with all policies, procedures, and safety standards, meeting regulatory requirements.
19. Leads retail team and store activities in the absence of or at the direction of the Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
20. Performs administrative duties such as opening/closing, bank deposits, and securing the store.
21. Performs other related duties as assigned.
