Summary
Assists the Retail Store Manager and Retail Assistant Store Manager in the operation and management of a retail center by performing the following duties personally or through supporting team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  2. Provides excellent customer experiences to all internal and external customers (ACE Values).
  3. Acts as an ambassador of Palmetto Goodwill and our I-CARE values.
  4. Embraces learning and growth, participating actively in training and development.
  5. Supports a culture of diversity, inclusivity, and belonging, ensuring team members feel respected and included.
  6. Receives donations using GRATIS (Greet, Receipt, Assist, Thank, Invite Back, Sort).
  7. Sorts, prices, and stocks donations for sale according to established expectations.
  8. Utilizes point-of-sale system accurately to complete sales and requests customers to round-up change for mission impact.
  9. Records donations, merchandise production, and completes specified tasks accurately.
  10. Exceeds production goals related to the role.
  11. Maintains a clean work environment.
  12. Demonstrates mastery in cashiering, softline, and hardline roles through evaluation.
  13. Obtains and maintains forklift, walk-behind stacker, first-aid, CPR, and BBP certifications.
  14. Trains new team members and sets a positive example.
  15. Provides coaching to team members as needed.
  16. Handles refunds and customer concerns.
  17. Reports security or theft issues to management or Asset Protection.
  18. Complies with all policies, procedures, and safety standards, meeting regulatory standards.
  19. Leads store activities in the absence of or at the direction of the Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
  20. Performs administrative duties such as opening/closing, bank deposits, and securing the building.
  21. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Leads retail team and store activities under the direction of the Store Manager/Assistant Manager, including training, planning, and addressing concerns in accordance with agency policies.
