Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Retail Shift Lead to be a key early leader, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming store while supporting daily operations and guiding the team to deliver excellent customer service.

You will oversee inventory, assist management with task execution, maintain cash integrity, and supervise staff training, contributing to a positive work environment and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail management and/or team leadership.
• 1+ year of proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash register operations.
• 1+ year of training and/or developing teams.
• Ability to work various shifts.
• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility, along with adherence to proper safety procedures.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and optimal customer service.
• Assist the management team with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and manage cash register operations.
