EZPAWN Minnesota, Inc. in Crystal, MN is seeking a Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) to lead operations and develop into greater roles within EZCORP's pawn-brand family.

Training includes a 5-week paid program with a $.50 raise and transition to Lead Pawnbroker; career path to Assistant Manager with a 6-month program. Benefits include health insurance, bonuses, 401(k), PTO, holiday pay, and store discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisor/leadership experience.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Knowledge of pawn items is a plus.

Training & Career Path

Complete the initial 5-week paid training program and earn a $.50 raise and transition to Lead Pawnbroker upon completion of the program. Enhance your leadership skills through our structured leadership training programs. Follow the Career Path and train for an Assistant Manager position which includes a 6-month training program to build the foundation to run your own store.

Key Responsibilities

Here’s what you can expect as a Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder): You will provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships with customers, all while promoting sales and making deals for a wide variety of pawn items. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to experience career growth in a retail environment that allows you to connect with people in your community and make a positive difference in their lives while leading and influencing Team Members around you through coaching and hands-on involvement.

• Processing loans and extensions
• Coming to jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned
• Performing opening and closing store procedures
• Supervising and coaching store Team Members

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess an engaging personality, solid leadership, strong negotiation talents, and the ability to read and manage customer needs. You should also be highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent judgment as well as strong time-management and prioritization skills. It is also important you display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build solid ongoing customer relationships.

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of supervisor, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager experience
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus
• Sales background, a plus
• Bilingual, a plus
