Job Purpose

The Shift Lead is an ambassador for our mission to empower guests’ wellness journeys. They deliver a top-tier guest experience by sharing product knowledge and passion for wellness. Responsibilities include providing excellent service, guest-centric selling, completing orders, processing transactions, and managing daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability through guest-focused selling and teamwork.
• Model the selling process to meet goals during shifts.
• Foster a guest-centric sales culture and communicate goals clearly.
• Support onboarding and training of new employees.
• Act as a brand ambassador by supporting community engagement and local marketing.
• Assist with inventory and order processes.
• Prepare, serve products, and maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Manage third-party vendors effectively.
• Enroll guests in our loyalty program.
• Engage in product sampling and share guest feedback with management.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including bank deposits and shipment receipt.
• Lead by example, ensuring a safe and respectful work environment.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain knowledge of products, including ingredients and allergens.
• Utilize POS systems efficiently.
• Maintain sales floor coverage according to schedule.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Passion and knowledge of health, fitness, or wellness.
• Ability to build guest relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Results-driven with a proactive attitude.
• Adaptability to new procedures and priorities.
• Experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership preferred.
• Cash handling and POS experience preferred.
• California Food Handler Card or equivalent preferred.
• Flexible availability, including holidays and weekends.
