Job summary

Chedrauiusa is hiring a Service Clerk at the 331 Banning location. The role involves assisting customers, maintaining carts, and ensuring the store remains clean and organized. Starting rate is $16.90 per hour, with duties including price checks and shelf replenishment.

The ideal candidate will have strong English reading/writing skills, ability to assist customers, and the physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Prior retail exposure or a Retail Management Certificate is a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and write English; interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and price codes.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently lift up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize shopping carts within the store and retrieve carts from the parking lot.
• Assist customers with loading merchandise into carts and vehicles.
• Check retail prices on shelf for check stand personnel.
• Pull merchandise from the check stand and return it to the proper shelf; walk aisles and return misplaced items to their proper location.
• Monitor cleanliness of store entrance, sweep front area, mop walkways, and keep entrance/exit doors clean.
• Maintain store cleanliness throughout the day, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and restocking as needed.
