Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Retail Driving Patrol in Aurora. The Security Professional Flex Officer will perform security patrols on foot or in a vehicle, monitor entrances, and assist customers.

The role uses our shift-pickup platform to claim shifts and build a schedule, with weekly pay and growth opportunities. Qualifications include a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience, background check, and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/telephone equipment and monitors.
• Interact cordially with the public.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Assess and evaluate situations quickly.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of infractions.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders.
