Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol Driver in Roeland Park, KS. You will provide customer service to store customers and employees, conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with store management, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
