Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver in De Soto, KS. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. A valid driver's license is required to perform driving duties, and you must meet state and local licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
