Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking a vigilant security officer to patrol our sites, deter crime and protect people and property in Las Vegas, NV. Responsibilities include maintaining visibility, verifying credentials, monitoring CCTV, controlling entry points, logging trucks, spotting threats and reporting incidents.

Qualifications include PILB/Guard Card, 18+ years, valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED; pre-employment drug screen and background check required; prior security

Qualifications

• PILB / Guard Card required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Previous experience in security is preferred.
• Must have open availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility by patrolling different areas of the lot to deter criminal activity.
• Verify credentials and access passes for entry.
• Monitor CCTV cameras around the gate area to identify suspicious activity or breaches.
• Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles enter/exit.
• Log entries and exits of trucks with details (company, driver, truck ID, cargo, delivery/pickup).
• Observe for security threats and report incidents to management.
• Document and report any security breaches or safety hazards promptly.
