Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Salisbury, NC to safeguard clients across industries and deter incidents through visible presence and exceptional service. This role emphasizes customer service, de-escalation, and adherence to location policies.

Responsibilities include patrolling the retail location, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents with professionalism.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Be at least 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by law.
Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns to appropriate store management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
Document patrols, incidents, and relevant observations accurately and promptly in accordance with location procedures.
