Job summary

Marksman Security in Denver, CO is seeking Security Officers for part-time or full-time roles. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

The pay rate is $24.67 per hour, with state licensing assistance possibly available for qualified applicants. Responsibilities include deterring crime, protecting property, monitoring cameras and alarms, patrolling premises, and verifying credentials of visitors and vehicles.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Must be able to walk and climb stairs.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
• Valid state licensing, if applicable.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Previous security experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity and protect property, enforcing rules on the site.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a fixed position or while patrolling.
• Patrol areas and perform security checks to ensure safety.
• Verify credentials of vehicles and individuals entering or leaving the premises.
• Provide assistance and incident reporting as needed.

Part- Time/ Full Time Security Officer in Denver Colorado

Pay Rate $ 24.67

The weekend and holiday availability is required

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields. State training and licensing assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises.

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be able to stand for up to 8-hour periods
• Must be able to do extensive walking and stair climbing
• Must be able to lift up to 10lbs
• Valid state licensing, if applicable
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Previous security experience is not required however is a PLUS!
