Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is seeking a full-time Retail Unarmed Security Officer in Phoenix, AZ. You will patrol the property, deter vandalism and theft, and respond to alarms as part of a dedicated team.

The role requires weekend and holiday availability, an AZ Unarmed Guard Card (or willingness to obtain one), a high school diploma, and a professional demeanor. You may operate in vehicles or on foot to ensure client site safety.

Qualifications

• AZ Unarmed Guard Card (must have, or must be willing to obtain).
• 18 years of age or older.
• 21 years of age or older to drive company vehicle.
• Driver's License.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Security experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to multitask and deal with competing priorities.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Patrol the interior and exterior of the property and several buildings to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions.
• Report alarms or request police, paramedics or fire departments in case of emergency.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles.
• Complete parking patrols and issue violations, as deemed necessary.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Deter criminal activity and misconduct.
• Lock and unlock areas according to the site’s opening and closing procedures.
