Position Summary

The primary role of the Supervisor, Retail Sales is to develop their team for success by becoming proficient in guest engagement to achieve revenue and budget sales targets.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Develop, coach, and motivate team’s success to expand sales profitability
  2. Maintain a primary focus on the support and development of each team member through our sales proficiency process
  3. Ensure that the retail store team is accurately staffed
  4. Assist with developing schedules, sales training, and salesfloor leadership
  5. Role Model the GEM during sales engagements
  6. Execute GEL responsibilities when assigned
  7. Ensure team completes ongoing development training
  8. Execute style guide directives
  9. Ensure daily task lists are completed by store teams
  10. Help to address escalated guest situations and resolution
  11. Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply data to assess the current departmental focus
  12. Assist the Manager on Duty to support successful sales operations financial outcomes
  13. Ensure check-out/in processes are executed
  14. Partner with the Retail Business Manager to meet and exceed sales goals
  15. Ability to develop team for growth opportunities
  16. Ability to work weekends and most holidays
  17. Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 5 years of retail experience in a direct customer interactive environment required. High volume experience is preferred. Three years of supervisory experience required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills:

Proficient experience in Microsoft Office programs. Experience with Tableau is preferred.

Position Hiring Range

The pay range is $23.90 - $31.05, determined by various factors including education, experience, skills, and location. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this range.
