Job summary

Safeway in Hawaii is hiring a Retail Sales and Store Support team member. You will help customers, restock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming. You’ll rotate products, update signage, and maintain backroom organization to ensure a smooth shopping experience across departments.

The role requires adaptability, basic English literacy, and the ability to stand and lift up to 60 lbs. Prior retail experience is a plus, with benefits including health coverage and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow instructions in English.
• Prior retail, stocking or customer service experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keep store clean, organized and easy to shop; assist customers and answer questions.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, update pricing or signage, and maintain backroom organization.
• Maintain displays across departments and support inventory and ordering processes.
• Move between tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
