Job summary

Jewel-Osco is seeking a Retail Sales and Store Support team member to keep the store clean, organized, and easy to shop while helping customers locate items and answer questions. You will maintain displays, stock shelves, and ensure product availability throughout the day.

The role emphasizes adaptability, strong communication, and the ability to work across departments in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on role)
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, balers, and box cutters following training and safety guidelines
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards

Responsibilities

• Keep the store clean, organized, and easy to shop across departments
• Assist customers, locate products, and answer questions to ensure a smooth shopping experience
• Stock shelves, rotate products, update pricing or signage, and maintain backroom organization
• Maintain displays and ensure product availability throughout the day
• Handle inventory and participate in restocking and ordering processes
