Job summary

Castlery New York showroom is seeking a Retail Sales Specialist (Part-Time) to help customers discover furniture they love. Located at 120 West 18th Street, New York, this on-site role focuses on delivering exceptional service and guiding customers through our design-focused offerings.

You will build trust, tell the product story, and collaborate with the showroom and global Customer Experience teams. Fluency in English, strong communication, and experience in retail are needed to meet sales

• Contribute to the operational and visual requirements of running a showroom.

• Deliver exceptional service experiences that guide our customers journey digitally and in person at each touchpoint

Whatyou’llneed to succeed:

• Prior retail sales experience is a plus, preferably in the furniture or home goods industry. Interior stylingexperience is preferred
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Maintain knowledge of assortment, services and policies to confidently meet customer needs
• Represent the brand through professional communication and exceptional service excellence
• Actively contributes to store sales target
• Efficiently perform showroom transactions with high degree of accuracy and following through with sales leads

Additional Information:

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move orlift upto 75 pounds and heavier with team assist
• Expect prolonged standing and maneuvering across sales floor and stockroom

Schedule:

• To build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams, we expect all full-time employees to have open availability and are expected to work variable shifts including peak days and weekends. All employees without exception are expected to be able to work during the company’s Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving (including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend) through the end of the holiday season (the 1st week of January).

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this role is USD $21 per hour.

• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per weekanda minimum of 3 days per week, weekends included
• Able to work flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, & holidays if required to meet the needs of the business)
