Position Summary

The primary responsibility of a Sales Specialist 1 is to execute the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model and create a positive experience for our guests that keeps them coming back. Proper execution of these areas will enable the product specialist to exceed targeted Sales Per Hour (SPH) and drive company KPIs while maintaining high guest satisfaction as measured by guest surveys.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain a focus on training and development in sales proficiency
  • Complete all training and demonstrate ability to meet company expectations
  • Oversee merchandising, visual, and labeling as per style guide directives
  • Ensure daily tasks are completed by store teams
  • Maintain inventory accuracy according to company standards
  • Drive proficiency using the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model
  • Connect behaviors to expected sales outcomes
  • Self-assess daily results and collaborate with leadership to improve
  • Complete monthly proficiency plans using sales reporting tools
  • Enhance guest satisfaction through engagement and service
  • Support style guide directives and daily task execution
  • Contribute to a store culture that supports company outcomes
  • Support team efforts to delight guests and meet revenue targets
  • Utilize all tools according to company standards
  • Execute check-out/in processes properly
  • Availability to work weekends and most holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; 1+ years retail experience preferred, especially in high-volume, customer-interactive environments. Equivalent education and experience considered.

Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office programs.

Position Hiring Range: $16.45 - $21.38, based on experience, education, skills, and market factors. Compensation includes potential team bonuses based on KPIs.
