Job summary

Staples, Inc. is hiring Sales Specialists to provide exceptional customer service, helping customers find total solutions in-store and via the kiosk. You’ll keep customers’ needs in mind while offering friendly, collaborative support in a fun, team-oriented retail setting.

Training is provided, and hiring is immediate. Responsibilities include creating a positive environment, staying current on tech products to offer total solutions, responding quickly to customer requests on the sales floor,

• Ensure the Tech department achieves key metrics, including profitable sales.
• Be flexible across responsibilities (e.g., cashier, merchandising, returns, other duties as assigned).

Sales Specialists provide exceptional customer service in helping our customers find a total solution both in-store and through the kiosk. You’ll have our customers’ needs in mind as you provide solutions. You will also be collaborative and inclusive in helping our customers while being part of a fun, team-oriented retail culture. Essential skills and experience:

• Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs




• Strong customer service experience




• Demonstrated ability to engage and speak to customers and understand their needs




• Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment




• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner




• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information




• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10 - 50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously

• Preferred but not required: experience selling products or services
