As a Retail Sales Specialist in our home theater department, you’ll engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences and budget while providing expert service and recommendations. You’ll maintain expert-level knowledge of all products in the home theater category, including specifications, features and benefits. You’ll also use effective time management strategies to optimize daily tasks and responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage with customers in the home theater department to support the customer experience, complete transactions, drive profitable growth and achieve sales goals
  • Stay informed about the latest technology trends and products through continuous learning and professional development
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints and returns professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience
  • Prioritize activities based on urgency and importance, set realistic deadlines and use tools and techniques to manage time effectively
  • Maintain department merchandising and readiness to serve customers
  • Train other sales floor personnel on how to be successful in the department

Basic Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience building complex solutions in sales, customer service or related fields

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of leadership experience in related field or military leadership equivalent (see my comment below on why this is highlighted)
  • 1 year of experience selling in premium products, luxury brands and/or custom design environments
  • 1 year of experience in customer relationship management (CRM)
