Job summary

Spectrum is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Specialist to connect with customers and promote our Spectrum products and services in-store. This role emphasizes delivering outstanding customer care and achieving sales, service, and operational goals across all store locations.

You will identify sales opportunities, educate customers on offerings, and overcome objections to maximize value. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• Comfort with personal technology and basic computer applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak English and handle multiple tasks.
• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
• 1-5 years sales/customer service, 1-3 years telecommunications/wireless preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enhancing the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identifying sales opportunities and creating ideal customer experiences through product support and education.
• Building positive customer relationships, effective listening, and overcoming objections, while reselling the value of our products.
• Maintaining knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions and visual standards, while minimizing product losses.
• Ensuring a welcoming store atmosphere, delivering a clean retail experience, effective communication, policy adherence, issue resolution and participating in training programs.
