Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Retail Sales Specialist to represent our Internet, TV, Mobile and Voice products in store locations. You’ll engage with customers, promote Spectrum offerings, and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer care.

The role emphasizes achieving sales goals, staying informed on pricing and promotions, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. A HIGH SCHOOL diploma is required; prior sales or telecom experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• High comfort level with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms and proficiency in computer applications.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments.
• Strong performance in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Highly effective interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.
• Self-motivated, competitive spirit with a desire to exceed sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Spectrum’s portfolio of products and services to existing and new customers.
• Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identify sales opportunities and create ideal customer experiences through product support and education.
• Build positive customer relationships through active listening and overcoming objections while communicating the value of Spectrum.
• Maintain knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions and visual standards, and minimize product losses.
• Create a welcoming store atmosphere with a clean retail experience and adhere to policies while participating in training programs.
