Job summary

Staples in Colonial Heights, VA is hiring Sales Specialists to provide exceptional customer service and help customers find total solutions in-store and at the kiosk. You’ll be part of a friendly, team-oriented retail culture with immediate hiring and training provided.

Responsibilities include creating an inviting environment, learning tech products to offer a complete solution, responding quickly to requests, and supporting the Tech department to achieve profitable sales.

• Be flexible on various responsibilities (e.g., cashier, merchandising, returns, other duties as assigned)

Sales Specialists provide exceptional customer service in helping our customers find a total solution both in-store and through the kiosk. You'll have our customers' needs in mind as you provide solutions. You will also be collaborative and inclusive in helping our customers while being part of a fun, team-oriented retail culture. Essential skills and experience:

• Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs

• Strong customer service experience

• Demonstrated ability to engage and speak to customers and understand their needs

• Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment

• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner

• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information

• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10 - 50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously

• Preferred but not required: experience selling products or services
