Job summary

Venture Home is hiring a Retail Associate to engage homeowners at retail locations, explain the benefits of residential solar, and schedule qualified homeowners for in-home consultations with Solar Consultants.

This role targets outgoing individuals who excel in conversations, with compensation comprising hourly pay plus commission and benefits for those working ~30 hours weekly. Friday–Sunday availability is required, with 9am–3pm or 3pm–9pm shifts.

Position Overview

The Retail Associate is responsible for engaging homeowners at retail locations, educating them about the benefits of residential solar energy, and scheduling qualified homeowners for in-home consultations with our Solar Consultants.

This is a customer-facing position designed for outgoing, energetic individuals who enjoy speaking with people and creating opportunities through meaningful conversations. Success is measured by generating high-quality appointments that result in completed in-home demonstrations and ultimately help homeowners save money through solar.

Responsibilities

• Engage shoppers in a friendly and professional manner.


• Educate homeowners on the benefits of going solar.


• Qualify homeowners based on company guidelines.


• Schedule qualified homeowners for free in-home solar consultations.


• Maintain a positive and professional representation of the company.


• Accurately record appointments and customer information.


• Consistently achieve appointment and performance goals.

Schedule

• Approximately 30 hours per week


• Five (5) six-hour shifts each week

Compensation

Hourly plus commission!

Retail Associates earn commissions based on completed sales generated from appointments they originate.
