KID TO KID SOUTH AUSTIN is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to assist customers and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities include operating the register, stocking shelves, processing inventory, and maintaining store appearance.

The ideal candidate has customer service experience and knowledge of cash register operation, with a willingness to work a flexible schedule in a lively retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
• Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales.
• Collect payments by cash and credit card
• Issue receipts and refunds to customers
• Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
• Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives as set forth by the company.
• Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
