Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow sales and deliver exceptional customer service in our retail stores. You will identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and close sales while building lasting relationships.

Role includes ongoing training, community engagement, and opportunities to earn commissions. Compensation ranges with base pay of $16.00–$21.00 per hour plus potential annual commissions, with total earnings potentially reaching $65,000–$75,500+.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience (sales or military acceptable).
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays (schedule known 4 weeks in advance).
• Open to additional shifts during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales through passion for technology and customer service.
• Learn customer needs by asking questions and building connections.
• Present product insights and provide top-down solutions.
• Close sales with clear communication and addressing customer needs.
• Develop skills through ongoing training and cross-functional exposure.
• Possibly engage with customers via outbound calls and texts.
• Represent Verizon at community events to grow the customer base.
