Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, operating the cash register, handling payments, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock merchandise.
• Build and stock merchandise displays.
• Restock and rotate stock on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and bag items.
• Maintain store cleanliness and handle trash and dusting.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Greet customers.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean front end and set up sidewalk displays as needed.
