Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the primary customer contact, stock and maintain plan-o-grams, and maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, and assist customers while protecting company assets.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, bagging items, handling payments, and helping with merchandise ordering and display setup. A high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.

• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, unpack, and move merchandise to stock room or sales floor.
• Build and stock displays, rotate merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases, handle payments and provide receipts.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners when needed.
• Keep store clean and greet customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
