Your Day at Lowe's
As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers, assist them in finding products, handle merchandise, and ensure customer needs are met. Responsibilities vary by department and include helping customers locate products, restocking shelves, processing orders, and guiding customers through shopping and checkout processes. Departments may include Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Nursery, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
  • Assist with locating and handling merchandise.
  • Restock shelves and replenish supplies.
  • Process orders and deliveries accurately.
  • Cross-train in other store areas to enhance service.
  • Prepare merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut pipes, trim wood, drywall, blinds).
  • Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, outputting information).
  • 6 months experience with retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and perform physical activities required for the role.
  • Ability to lift minimally 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with assistance or accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months retail and/or customer service experience.
  • Bilingual skills.
  • Trade certifications related to the department (e.g., hardware, plumbing, electrical).

Travel Requirements
This position does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or support for neighboring stores.

Working Conditions
