Dollar General in Wisconsin Rapids is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, assist with plan-o-grams and programs, stock merchandise, and help maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork while protecting company assets.

Duties include unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, building displays, helping customers locate items, operating the cash register and bagging purchases, and maintaining a clean front end and stockroom.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandising guidelines.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and receive shipments.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; build displays.
• Assist customers in locating items.
• Operate cashier and bag purchases; process payments.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Maintain cleanliness of front end and stockroom while following company policies.
