Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Associate to act as the frontline contact for customers, assist in stocking, merchandising, and operating the register. You will help maintain plan-o-grams, build displays, stock shelves, and assist customers with locating merchandise while protecting company assets.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, cleaning, and following procedures. The role requires basic math and cash handling skills, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow store processes to receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays to maintain plan-o-grams.
• Assist customers in locating items and answering questions.
• Operate the cash register and bag purchases; handle payments.
• Keep the store clean, including floors, restrooms, and stockroom.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
