Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a team member to act as the point of contact for customers, assist in stocking, merchandising, and operating the sales floor. You will unload trucks, set up plan-o-grams, build displays, and ensure merchandise is correctly rotated and visible on shelves.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and stock/rotate items on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide friendly service.
• Operate cash register and process payments; bag items and give change.
• Assist with merchandise ordering using hand-held scanners as needed.
• Clean store areas and assist with sidewalk displays when required.
