Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a retail team member to act as the point of contact for customers, assist with plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and help maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays; stock and rotate merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean front end of store and set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
