Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, maintain plan-o-grams, and stock merchandise to support store performance and customer satisfaction. You will help set up displays and ensure accurate plan-o-gram adherence.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, assisting customers, and handling transactions in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety policies and store procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and process transactions.
• Stocking, merchandising, and display maintenance knowledge.
• Basic math and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock shelves or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays; rotate and face stock.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, bag items, and collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
