Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, stock merchandise, build displays, and maintain plan-o-grams to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

The role involves unloading trucks, assisting shoppers, operating the cash register, and following company processes to ensure a clean, efficient store environment while protecting assets.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store or place on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating items.
• Greet customers and operate cash register to total purchases and bag items.
• Collect payment and make change; assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep store clean and assist with sidewalk displays when needed.
• Follow company policies and procedures and protect assets.
