Job summary

Dollar General in a New York area store is seeking a customer-focused team member to act as the primary contact for shoppers, stock and display products, and support store operations. You will unload shipments, build displays, and assist customers while following company procedures.

The role requires basic math and cash handling skills, as well as experience operating a cash register and scanners. A high school diploma is preferred and a steady, reliable work approach is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Follow processes to receive, unpack, and store merchandise; move to sales floor as needed.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays to maintain visual appeal.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Operate cash register, ring up items, bag purchases, and provide change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners when needed.
• Keep store clean, including front end, restrooms, and stockroom.
