Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a team member to assist customers, stock and merchandise, and maintain clean, organized aisles. You will greet shoppers, help locate items, and operate the register to complete purchases.

A focus on plan-o-grams and efficient stocking supports store profitability and customer satisfaction. As part of the team, you will unload trucks, restock merchandise, and assist with ordering using handheld scanners.

Qualifications

• Must have effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety policies and practices is expected.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation.
• Basic cash handling procedures knowledge required.
• Basic mathematical skills helpful for transactions.
• Experience with IBM cash registers desirable.

Responsibilities
