Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Associate to be the primary customer contact, assist in plan-o-gram maintenance, stock merchandise, and keep displays organized. You will unload trucks, stock and rotate items, and help customers locate products.

You will operate the cash register, process payments, bag purchases, and assist with stocking using handheld scanners. A teamwork-focused, safety-conscious approach helps protect assets and improve store profitability.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face items on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean store front and set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
