Job summary

Dollar General in the United States seeks a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams, and stock merchandise to ensure appealing displays.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, assisting customers, operating the cash register, handling payments, and keeping the store clean and safe while following company policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock merchandise.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays.
• Stock and face merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register to total purchases and bag items.
• Collect payments and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners.
• Clean and maintain store areas.
