Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is hiring a Store Associate to act as the primary customer contact, assist in plan-o-grams, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness. You will handle cash at the register and support merchandising programs across a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build and maintain merchandise displays.
• Stock, rotate and face merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Clean store areas (front end, restrooms, stockroom) and take out trash.
• Greet customers and comply with company policies.
