Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Associate to support daily store operations in Hickory, NC. You will assist customers, stock shelves, build displays, and handle checkout responsibilities with accuracy and courtesy.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, maintaining plan-o-grams, and ensuring a clean, organized store environment. A high school diploma is preferred, and lifting up to 40 pounds may be required in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves; face items.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Greet customers.
• Operate cash register and flatbed scanner; itemize and total purchases; bag merchandise.
• Collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean front end of store and assist with sidewalk displays when needed.
