Job summary

Dollar General is hiring at our North Carolina locations. The associate will be the primary contact for customers, stock and display merchandise, and operate cash registers to complete sales.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and stock shelves; rotate merchandise.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and total customer purchases; bag items and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Greet customers and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
