Job summary

The role centers on extending courteous customer service to shoppers and donors and upholding Goodwill's mission in daily store operations. You will greet customers, assist donors, stock and inventory merchandise, load and unload trucks, and maintain store safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Functional reading, writing, and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and donors.
• Bag merchandise, promptly answer the phone, with the correct Goodwill greeting, and accurately handle store returns.
• Receive, stock, tag, count and inventory merchandise.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks from the distribution center.
• Stock, merchandise, colorize, and size textiles.
• Stock, merchandise, electronics, furniture, house wares, exercise equipment and other hard goods to ensure safety.
• Perform general housekeeping, custodial and janitorial duties, and other duties as assigned.
