Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina, Inc. is seeking a part-time Retail Associate in West Columbia to support shoppers and donors. You will greet customers, assist with purchases, stock merchandise, and help with daily store operations.

This role requires basic reading, writing, and math skills, physical ability to lift and stand for extended periods, and flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed to support the store's mission.

Qualifications

• Functional reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Physical requirements include lifting, standing for long periods, and ability to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and donors.
• Bag merchandise, answer phones, and handle returns with a friendly greeting.
• Receive, stock, tag, count and inventory merchandise.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks from the distribution center.
• Stock textiles, electronics, furniture, housewares, and other goods to keep items safe and properly displayed.
• Perform housekeeping, custodial and janitorial duties as scheduled.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
