The Retail Sales Merchandiser is a full-time, on-site role based in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. In this role, the Merchandiser ensures products are properly stocked, displayed, and priced according to retailer and brand guidelines, while maintaining clean and organized shelves and promotional areas. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with store personnel, setting up new product launches and in-store promotions, and monitoring inventory levels to reduce out-of-stocks. The role also involves collecting and reporting store-level data, identifying sales opportunities, and implementing merchandising plans to increase product visibility and sales. The Merchandiser may be required to travel between assigned stores within the region, follow company and retailer safety standards, and meet performance goals and timelines.
