Harbor Freight Tools seeks an Assistant Manager (full-time) to join a high-performing retail team. You'll lead, coach, and empower associates, ensuring excellent customer service and a safe, organized store.

The anticipated hourly range is $25.25–$27.78, with a monthly bonus and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), PTO up to 152 hours per year, and paid sick time. Flexible schedules across 6am–10pm and opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail is required.
• Strong customer-service focus and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and develop others.
• Flexible schedule across early morning to late evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and model professional customer service.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store.
• Cross-train in Store Operations including stocking and sales duties.
• Lead, coach, and develop others.
• Serve as Leader on Duty as scheduled.
• Be a subject matter expert in your role and promote Great Place To Work behaviors.
• Ensure items are in stock and priced correctly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our Assistant manager (full-time) is a valued member of a high performing team who is empowered & equipped to do their job. The anticipated range for this position is $25.25 – $27.78 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for a monthly bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 152 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 64 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
